Amex App Reviews

This app is okay if you want to see what you have charged but if you want your current balance, good luck. Payments do not show in the activity log in a timely manner and it is frustratingly obtuse in what is actually going on with your account. I would expect better from American Express.

Please add the ability too pay your card with Siri! Discover has it and its sooo convenient!

Why ruin a great app that had no flaws what so ever and change it with some idiot web developers pipe dream. Should have kept the original!! Bad move American Express. Hope you dont mess your online version too. Crap!!

Amex has one of the best credit apps. My only frustration is the inability to make multiple payments on the device and inability to dispute from the app. Other then that I think its a awesome update

Login doesnt work. Online support is useless.

This is the second time that this app has been updated since push notifications stopped working. I dont know how hard it is to fix push notifications but clearly its affecting the overall performance and enjoyability for me. App has been terrible since.

Why cant it allow landscape mode?!?!? The old Amex app allowed it. I dont want to keep rotating my iPad because apps support only one viewable mode. This is an Ipad not as a tilt a whirl.

I am not sure why American Express would develop this new app - it is so much harder to read (light font style) and no full screen. I liked the previous app so much better. Please go back to the old way and remember your customer who is older and likes a bigger bolder UI.

I love that an alert pops up every time there is been a charge to my card. I also love that Amex allows fingerprint authentication. And I love that I can pay my bills through this app. I wish it would offer additional services as well, such as ordering a replacement card, but it is still deserving of five full stars.

This NEW & IMPROVED app is worthless. I cant even get it to open.

The layout and overall design are not as good as the previous version.

Lousy app, but if youre an Amex customer and want to access your account on your mobile device...you have no choice but to load it and use it.

Havent spent much time using, but first impressions are not great... why is there a default view? I use landscape 99% of time on iPad. This app opens by default in portrait them makes me unlock screen and rotate to landscape... NOT EFFICIENT!!!

Update downloaded but wont install, now I have no AMEX app.

Should have kept the old one. This one is horrible to use, information and balance isnt clear and too many steps to take when am,in a payment.

This app doesnt work at all! The old app worked great however this app says I am not authorized to use the on line app, WTH?! It tells me to log on to a desktop computer, really!?!? What was wrong with the old app? Why make an app that your customers cant access?

Was able to access all of my accounts using old app....now only able to access 1....bad design and navigation. Very disappointed!

The app is beautiful to look at and easy to use. I just downloaded it, so far so good.
