Pros and cons of Amex app for iPhone and iPad

Amex app good for

I love this app. It is very fluid and smooth. More importantly, it is very useful and easy to use. It keeps me very up to date with my finances. My only complaint is that the pull down refresh feature seems to have disappeared within the last couple updates. I loved making payments, then from the main screen showing my balance and available credit, I could pull the page down and itd refresh and show me the updated available credit. As this feature is gone now, I have to sign out and sign back in to see the refreshed available credit. That is a pain in the neck and a waste of time. Please bring this feature back! Easy five stars for me with this feature back.

App is good, but being able to view your current credit score and credit score history would be a great addition. Youre able to view it on the Amex website so its not like the information isnt there. Other apps for credit cards like Citi and SunTrust have this feature and aside from that I think the Amex app is better than them in every way...except for not being able to view your credit score.

Amex has one of the best credit apps. My only frustration is the inability to make multiple payments on the device and inability to dispute from the app. Other then that I think its a awesome update

I love that an alert pops up every time there is been a charge to my card. I also love that Amex allows fingerprint authentication. And I love that I can pay my bills through this app. I wish it would offer additional services as well, such as ordering a replacement card, but it is still deserving of five full stars.

The app is beautiful to look at and easy to use. I just downloaded it, so far so good.

Thanks for the amazing app. Can you please add a widget that shows the nearby offers? It will help checking out whats available around you without logging into the app. Thanks.

Some bad moments

What a stupid decision to remove the ability to view transactions by authorized users! Its very inconvenient :(

The app crashes every time. The previous version worked great! I have deleted and reinstalled three times and continue to have same problem. Please fix ASAP!

Maybe I will like this version better after I get used to it, but it seems to be a step backwards and more cumbersome to use for my purposes.

This app was clearly farmed out to the cheapest (read: incompetent) company who bid on the job Does not take advantage of available technologies. Not stable. Not intuitive. Locks you out a lot. Amex should fire the dev team and start from scratch.

This app has been stuck for two days in the download mode. I tried deleting the app to start over, but it will not let me. Therefore, it is totally useless to me.

The update wont download, so now the app is totally unusable. Please fix it asap!
